Packaging Agent

Weigh, wrap, and pack meat products according to the specified product requirements and packaging standards.
Ensure all orders are complete, accurate, and prepared for timely delivery.
Ensure all packaged products are handled and stored properly and comply with applicable food safety requirements.
Clean and maintain equipment, tools, and work areas to ensure proper hygiene and sanitation standards.
Receive, check, and properly store packaging materials upon delivery.
Properly operate packaging machinery and equipment, including vacuum machines, wrapping machines, scales, and other related equipment, and ensure they are maintained in good working condition.
Coordinate with the Distribution Supervisor regarding the type and quantity of products to be packed.
Set up and adjust weighing scales and packaging equipment according to product requirements and report any issues or malfunctions to the Distribution Supervisor.
Ensure that all packaged products are properly handled and safely transferred to the warehouse.
Conduct daily inventory checks of packed products and report any discrepancies.
Follow all company food safety, hygiene, quality, and operational procedures.
Comply with and work in accordance with FSSC 22000 requirements at all times.

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience:

Previous experience in meat packing, food production, packaging, or a similar factory environment is preferred.
Experience operating packaging equipment and weighing scales is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies:

Ability to follow product specifications and work instructions accurately.
Good attention to detail, particularly when weighing, labeling, and packing products.
Ability to operate packaging equipment safely and correctly.
Good understanding of hygiene and food safety practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the workplace.

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
