Packaging and Labeling Specialist

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Packaging and Labeling Specialist to handle product repacking, labeling, packaging, and related activities. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in packaging food products, printing and applying labels, and ensuring that products are properly packed and ready for dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle product repacking and packaging according to company requirements.
• Prepare, print, and apply product labels accurately.
• Understand label layouts, product information, batch numbers, manufacturing dates, expiry dates, and other labeling details.
• Operate label printers and troubleshoot basic printing issues.
• Check label accuracy, readability, and placement before applying them to products.
• Pack products into boxes and cartons and ensure proper sealing.
• Perform relabeling and repackaging when required.
• Ensure packaging materials, labels, and cartons are available for daily operations.
• Inspect finished products to ensure packaging quality and accuracy.
• Maintain proper records of packaging and labeling activities.
• Follow hygiene, safety, and quality standards, particularly when handling food products.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience in product packaging, repacking, and labeling.
• Practical knowledge of label printing and printer operation.
• Ability to work with packaging materials, cartons, sealing equipment, and labeling tools.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to identify and correct labeling and packaging errors.
• Basic computer skills for label preparation and printing.
• Ability to work independently and meet daily production targets.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in food product packaging, grocery products, or food manufacturing.
• Knowledge of barcode labels, product labels, batch coding, and expiry-date labeling.
• Experience with label design or editing software is an advantage.

Pay: ₹8,100.00 - ₹47,000.00 per month
