Job Title: Brewery Warehouse/Packaging Associate

Reports To: Head Brewer and Packaging Manager

Classification: Hourly, Full-Time

Hourly Rate: $16.00+ (based on level of experience)

General Job Summary:

The Warehouse/Packaging Associate will flex between warehouse and packaging duties as needed to meet daily production needs. ***Experience in warehousing and forklift operation is required. The expectation will also be that the candidate has experience driving a box truck. We utilize our own box truck for intercompany product transfer, as well as daily operations between the facilities we use in Johnson City, TN.

Essential Duties

Packaging

● Follow safety, quality, and operating procedures in accordance with Yee-Haw Brewing Company standards

● Assist with canning day operations

● Assist with setting up related equipment for specific daily operations including keg washer, canning line, depalletizer, labeler, and other various supplies

● Count, palletize, wrap, and move cases of finished cans/kegs

● Clean, wash, fill, label, palletize & move kegs to cold storage

● Assist with organization of supplies needed for packaging days, such as staging empty kegs, empty cans, setting up and breaking down different stations in a small work area ● Verify quality of final products, with attention to detail

● General cleaning duties such as trash, sweeping, scrubbing floors, work areas, drains and sinks

Warehouse

● Assist with preparing orders for shipment to other locations and distributors ● Safely load and unload trucks with forklift and pallet jacks (forklift operation experience is a plus but is not required – we will train and obtain certification if necessary)

● May drive trucks to local distributors and other Yee-Haw locations as needed.

● Receive, stock, and organize items that are delivered to warehouses for the Brewery, FOH, and Corporate departments.

● Receive and maintain inventory of used kegs.

● Maintain a clean warehouse which may include sweeping, moving items, taking items to waste disposal and scrap yard, and prepping for deliveries.

Requirements:

● Valid driver’s license and clean driving record while employed by Yee-Haw Brewing Company.

● Ability to lift 55 lbs. over the waist and move 165lbs. of kegged beer from one location to another repeatedly as needed.

● Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads of up to 350 pounds.

● Ability to arrive for each shift on time and be fit for duty.

● Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.

● Ability to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, and walk on uneven surfaces. ● Ability to work in hot, cold, and wet environments.

● Ability to climb stairs/ladders, work at heights above 12 ft. and stand for prolonged periods.

● Ability to perform repetitive work in a noisy environment

● Ability to perform responsibilities on your feet for long periods of time while maintaining a safe work area

● Ability to learn from on-the-job training regarding our processes, hazardous materials/chemical handling, general safety practices regarding food and beverage manufacturing

● Ability to interact positively and effectively with various types of people.

● Ability to work safely and identify and correct safety hazards in the working environment.
