Job Description

We’re hiring a Packaging Assistant to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, can stay focused on repetitive tasks, and takes pride in doing things the right way — fast, organized, and carefully.

You’ll be responsible for packaging furniture parts, ensuring all components are included, and preparing each order so it reaches families in perfect condition.

Responsibilities

• Carefully package Montessori furniture products following provided checklists and instructions
• Double-check all parts and labels before sealing boxes
• Move and lift boxes (up to 40 lbs) safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Work quickly while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail
• Communicate any packaging or labeling issues immediately
• Help with basic shop organization or restocking when needed

Qualifications

• Extremely detail-oriented — you notice when something’s off
• Able to focus for long periods and complete tasks accurately
• Physically able to stand, sit, bend, and lift throughout the day
• Strong judgment and reliability — you take ownership of your work
• Positive attitude and ability to work independently after training
• Prior packaging or warehouse experience is a plus, but not required

Pay & Schedule

• $16/hour
• Flexible schedule: 20–40 hours per week depending on workload
• Part-time with potential for additional hours during busy seasons
