Packaging & Warehouse Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Packaging Lead/Manager in operating and maintaining all packaging equipment.

• Cleaning Kegs

• Filling Kegs

• Filling cans

• Packing Out and Palletizing Cases

• Checking dissolved oxygen levels in cans using Anton Parr CBox

• Keeping all equipment in excellent condition

• Maintaining electronic Repair & Maintenance Logs & Preventative Maintenance Schedule

• Checking carbonation of finished beer before packaging

• Making sure beer scheduled to be packaged is approved by a Brewer, or Manager before packaging.

• Maintaining a clean workspace.

• Building Orders for distribution.

Experience

• Basic organizational skills necessary.

• Basic computer skills.

• Warehouse and/or packaging experience a plus. Willing to train the right candidate on equipment and procedures.

• Able to lift 55 lbs repeatedly and maneuver 165 lbs.
• Able to work a flexible schedule between the hours of 6am & 6pm.
• Able to work on your feet for extended periods of time.
• Able to communicate effectively within a team through verbal and written communication
• An interest in packaging high-quality craft beverages and having fun while doing it!

This is a full-time entry-level (40 hours /week) hourly position, Monday - Friday. The position starts at $20/hr, paid time off, partial medical benefits, a 401k with employer match, and a generous product sampling allowance.
