Packaging Associate

Job highlights

• 1-3 years experience in jewellery packaging or e-commerce packing with knowledge of SKU and barcode labels
• Pack and inspect jewellery items, verify labels, prepare shipments, maintain packing records and coordinate with teams

Role & responsibilities

• Pack jewellery items including earrings, necklaces, bracelets and rings neatly and securely.
• Ensure products are placed in the correct boxes, pouches and branded packaging.
• Follow brand standards for presentation, labelling and finishing.
• Inspect jewellery for defects, damage, missing stones or incorrect items before packing.
• Check product quality, cleanliness and appearance before dispatch.
• Attach and verify SKU, barcode and price labels accurately.
• Prepare customer orders according to order sheets/packing lists.
• Cross-check SKUs and quantities before sealing packages.
• Prepare shipments for courier pickup and dispatch.
• Maintain adequate stock of boxes, pouches, bubble wrap, tapes and other packaging materials.
• Coordinate with QC, production and dispatch teams.
• Maintain daily packing records, order sheets and work logs.
• Weigh packages and assist with packing lists/shipping documentation.
• Sort daily orders according to shipment categories.
• Assist with loading and unloading shipments when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing area.

Preferred candidate profile

• 1-3 years of experience in packaging, order packing, jewellery packaging, e-commerce packing or warehouse operations.
• Jewellery packaging experience will be preferred.
• Good attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to handle delicate jewellery products carefully.
• Basic understanding of SKU, barcode and product labels.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic documentation and order-sheet handling skills.
