Job Overview

Mugshei Pvt Ltd is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Packaging Cost Estimator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the custom packaging industry, particularly the US market, and will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing production expenses, and providing competitive pricing for custom packaging products.

The selected candidate must have excellent analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and quotations for custom packaging boxes based on client requirements.
• Calculate material costs, printing costs, production expenses, shipping charges, and profit margins.
• Analyze packaging specifications, including box dimensions, materials, printing techniques, finishing options, and quantities.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and production timelines.
• Prepare competitive quotations for US-based clients while maintaining company profit margins.
• Work closely with the sales team to provide timely quotations and pricing support.
• Negotiate pricing with vendors and suppliers to ensure cost-effective production.
• Maintain updated pricing records, vendor quotations, and costing sheets.
• Review customer requirements and recommend cost-effective packaging solutions.
• Ensure all quotations are accurate and delivered within the required timelines.
• Monitor market pricing trends and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
• Coordinate with the production and sales teams to ensure smooth order processing.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in cost estimation within the custom packaging industry.
• Experience working with US-based packaging clients or the US packaging market will be preferred.
• Strong knowledge of custom packaging boxes, including corrugated boxes, rigid boxes, folding cartons, and other packaging materials.
• Good understanding of printing methods, finishing techniques, die-cutting, and packaging production processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and costing calculations.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple quotations and meet deadlines.
• Must be comfortable working during US business hours.
