Packaging cum Store Keeper

About the role

We are seeking a Packaging cum Store Keeper to join Tawai Trading Sdn Bhd in our Tuaran, Sabah facility. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in our warehousing and distribution operations. As Packaging cum Store Keeper, you will be responsible for managing both our packaging operations and store inventory, ensuring that products are properly prepared for dispatch and that stock levels are accurately maintained. This position is essential to the smooth running of our logistics operations and directly impacts our ability to deliver quality service to our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Repack goods according to the required quantity and specifications.

• Ensure all items are properly packed, sealed and labelled.

• Check the quantity and condition of goods before repacking.

• Follow all company procedures and safety requirements.

• Preparing items for shipment, including packaging, labelling and quality checking

• Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements and warehouse transactions

• Conducting regular stock takes and reconciling physical inventory with system records

• Ensuring the warehouse environment is clean, organised and compliant with health and safety regulations

• Identifying and reporting discrepancies, damaged goods or stock issues to management

• Supporting the dispatch team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment

• Maintaining packaging materials and ensuring adequate stock levels for operations

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working in a warehouse, storage or distribution environment

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

• Proficiency in inventory management systems and stock control procedures

• Attention to detail and accuracy when handling stock records and documentation

• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks regularly

• Experience with packaging procedures and materials handling

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good communication skills and reliability in attendance and punctuality

• Knowledge of workplace health and safety standards

• Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous
