Packaging Design Engineer - R&D

Job Summary:

• Packaging design engineer responsible for designing and developing the package of power electronics hardware for telecom, server and networking application.

Your main role is to:

• Design and evaluate structural packaging for power electronics hardware products, utilizing comprehensive knowledge of material selection for substrate profiles, such as polymers, corrugated fiberboard, molded pulp, and other eco-friendly materials.
• Innovate and develop the packaging concepts and structural designs to meet customer and industry requirements.
• Develop and maintain packaging technical specifications, proposals, work instructions, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Support product package reliability failure mode root cause analysis and solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers to ensure all packaging activities meet requirements and project timelines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Industrial Engineering.
• Basic Mechanical field knowledge, experienced from packaging design.

Skills:

Strong technical background in the field of:

• Knowledge of CAD parameter such as Creo, Solid work and AutoCAD
• Knowledge of basic polymer, corrugate materials, and packaging material manufacturing process.
• Knowledge of Eco-friendly packaging design.
• Knowledge of International Safe Transit Association standard.
• Knowledge of technical issue analysis and solution.
• Communication & organize skill.
• Verbal and written communications skills in English.
• Able to travel oversees to Europe, China.
• Professional working attitude, high responsibility and good teamwork, eager to learn new things & technology: most important.

Working Hours: 7:40 - 16:40 (Mon - Fri)
