Packaging Developer I – Spec & Protocol

该职位来源于猎聘 ROLE SUMMARY The Packaging Developer I – Spec & Protocol role is responsible for owning and governing packaging specification management, protocol development and validation across Packaging Innovation and to support cross categories. It ensures packaging specifications is fit for purpose and technical development activities are robust, manufacturable, compliant, traceable, and efficiently executed, enabling consistent and high quality commercialization

Accountabilities Operational/Professional

• Create, update, and maintain packaging specifications in accordance with defined governance, approval, and change control processes for new converted material and processes
• Coordinate specification revision, approval, implementation, and archival activities to ensure accuracy and traceability.
• Ensure specifications are technically correct, manufacturable, and aligned with regulatory and Quality requirements.
• Apply standard specification structures and technical data requirements consistently across assigned projects.
• Execute approved validation and qualification protocols, including packaging and factory trials; Qualification runs; Material validation; Performance testing; Transit testing; Shelf life evaluation; Technical change implementation and etc
• Apply defined acceptance criteria, sampling plans, and evaluation methodologies during testing and trials.

Business

• Support timely delivery of packaging development projects by ensuring specifications and validation protocol are completed to plan.
• Ensure technical outputs support manufacturing efficiency, quality performance, and regulatory compliance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, complexity reduction, and standardization initiatives Management / Collaboration
• Drive cross functional collaboration across R&D, Operations, Quality, Procurement, Supply Chain, and external suppliers
• Act as a technical authority and escalation point for specification and protocol related matter
• Provide clear technical inputs, data, and documentation to support decision making and approvals.
• Support supplier onboarding, technical capability assessment, and continuous capability uplift EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE
• 3 – 4 years of experience in packaging specification management and technical development.
• Experience developing SOPs, protocols, specifications, and standardized workflows.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, print technologies, and supplier operations
• Hands on exposure to validation, qualification, and testing activities
• Comfortable working within defined governance, processes, and approval structures
• Excellent stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.

• Bachelor’s in Engineering, Packaging Technology, Materials Science, or equivalent experience
• Preferably speaks English & Chinese (Mandarin) fluently.
