Packaging Development

About the role

Develop innovative and attractive packaging designs for new or existing products to meet current market needs and trends. Manage packaging development projects to ensure timely execution according to plan. Coordinate and collaborate with R&D, Regulatory, Quality Control, and Purchasing teams throughout the packaging development process.

Job Description:

• Develop packaging design for new or existing products with innovative and attractive solutions
• Manage packaging development projects and ensure timely execution according to plan
• Coordinate and collaborate with R&D, Regulatory, Quality Control, and Purchasing teams
• Identify alternative materials and suppliers to improve quality and cost efficiency
• Validate packaging specifications, conduct physical testing, and ensure designs meet quality, functional, safety, regulatory, and aesthetic standards
• Understand packaging specifications, artwork approval, color standards, and print proofs
• Implement improvements related to packaging materials and packing processes
• Conduct market research

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree (all majors)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Packaging Development or Research and Development of packaging products, preferably in food and beverage industry
• Knowledge of packaging processes and printing
• Understanding of packaging materials, functions, and compatibility between materials and products
• Creative, innovative, and fast learner
• Detail-oriented with ability to perform repetitive work
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
