Packaging Development Manager – Bakery & Confectionery

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Packaging for retail and Q-Commerce applications.
• Design packaging solutions considering drop, stacking, warehouse handling and last-mile delivery requirements.
• Evaluate and select flexible films, rigid plastics, corrugated materials and sustainable packaging solutions.
• Identify, develop and manage packaging suppliers and printing partners.
• Lead packaging trials, pre-press approvals, proofing and colour matching.
• Establish packaging quality standards and testing parameters, including drop, bursting strength, moisture barrier and leakage tests.
• Develop festive, promotional and premium packaging while ensuring timely execution.
• Implement packaging SOPs and quality controls at the manufacturing plant.
• Ensure compliance with FSSAI, Legal Metrology, barcode and labelling requirements.

Candidate Profile

• B.Tech / Diploma in Packaging Technology or equivalent qualification.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in FMCG, Food & Beverage, Bakery, Confectionery or E-commerce Packaging.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of ArtiosCAD and Adobe Illustrator.
• Experience in structural packaging, mockups and packaging development.
• Working knowledge of Gravure, Flexographic and Offset Printing.
• Strong understanding of packaging materials, supplier development and packaging trials.
• Experience in E-commerce / Q-Commerce transit packaging will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
