Packaging Engineer

Packaging Engineer, Nefab Denmark Nefab is on a growth journey, and we are dependent on engaged people to succeed!

We are now strengthening our team in Nefab Denmark with a Packaging Engineer.

In this role you will work closely with commercial teams, operations, suppliers and customers to deliver complete packaging solutions that balance protection, cost efficiency, manufacturability and environmental performance. You will support business both in Denmark and within the Nordic region.

This position is located in Farum and you will report to the Sales manager for Denmark. You will also be part of a Nordic engineering competence center.

Main responsibilities

• Design and develop packaging solutions using Nefab products and sourced materials, with primary focus on heavy-duty corrugated applications.
• Translate customer and project requirements into technical concepts and production-ready packaging designs.
• Take active part in the sales process by attending customer meetings, calculating prices and advising on packaging design.
• Lead engineering support for the Nordic region engineering network within the field of Heavy Duty Corrugated.
• Track market trends, technickal advancements, and innovation opportunities in corrugated packaging.

Your profile We are looking for someone who has:

• A degree in Engineering, Packaging Technology, Industrial Design, or a related technical area.
• Proven work experience in packaging design, preferably with a focus on transport packaging solutions.
• Good communication skills in technical and customer-facing environments.
• Experience using CAD software for packaging and structural design.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English as well as a Nordic language.

Experience working with corrugated materials is an advantage, but not a prerequisite for this role.
