Packaging Engineer

Packaging Engineer vacancy for our Glattpark (Opfikon) based client in the Pharma sector.

Your tasks:

• Manage CMO packaging activities and ensure all documentation requirements for packaging operations are met.
• Review, approve and maintain technical profile drawings, purchasing specifications and release specifications.
• Support change controls, non-conformances and CAPA activities in collaboration with Quality and Global Labelling Operations.
• Develop and qualify packaging components, packaging processes and alternate substrates, suppliers and processes to reduce supply risk.
• Support implementation of platform components, bill of materials and global corporate standard labelling requirements, including serialisation and authentication.
• Work across internal stakeholders and contract manufacturing organisations to deliver compliant, timely project outcomes.

Your experience/knowledge:

• Degree in an engineering-related discipline, ideally Packaging Engineering.
• At least 5 years' pharmaceutical experience or equivalent background.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP documentation requirements and packaging process validation.
• Proven experience using quality documentation systems, with TrackWise essential.
• Experience in packaging component qualification and managing technical documentation.
• Language skills: English
