Hiring: Packaging Engineer II

Location: North Haven, CT (Onsite)

Contract: October 26, 2026 – April 30, 2027

Job Description:

We are looking for a Packaging Engineer II to support packaging material qualification and process validation for medical device products, specifically absorbable sutures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Validate and qualify packaging materials such as nylon film, foil, and Tyvek.
• Perform equipment qualification (IQ, OQ, PQ) and process validation.
• Develop validation protocols, reports, and SOPs.
• Support process development and change control activities.
• Lead projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure compliance with medical device quality standards.

Required Skills:

• Packaging engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience in IQ, OQ, PQ, and process validation.
• Familiarity with Cognex and Keyence vision inspection systems.
• Knowledge of DOE and Minitab is preferred.
• Medical device industry experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
