Packaging Line Lead (2nd Shift)

POSITION TITLE: Packaging Line Lead

DEPARTMENT: Packaging

REPORTS TO: Manager Packaging

POSITION OBJECTIVE: To work with a team to assure packaging operations are run on time and accurately.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Operate packaging machines for tablets

· Monitor tablet quality (chipping, breakage) and packaging criteria (count, seals, labels)

· Check and verify bulk and packaging components before starting packaging operations

· Perform quality checks throughout packaging operations

· Maintain line Masters and other paperwork

· Train staff and assist with Line assignments

· Perform minor machine adjustments to maintain efficient operations

· Clean and maintain equipment and rooms

· Follow all cGMP requirements as detailed in SOPs

· Document all activities in Master Production Records and LogBooks

· Communicate any deviations to Supervisor

· Provide additional support and assistance on tasks and projects as directed by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

· High School Diploma or GED preferred

· Over 2 years prior experience in packaging, preferably in a solid dose OTC facility

· Must work as part of a team.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
