Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Packaging Maintenance Mechanic with at least 2 years of hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting bottle packaging lines within the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, supplement, or food manufacturing industry.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and experience with equipment setup, changeovers, disassembly, repairs, preventive maintenance, and line troubleshooting while working in a cGMP/SOP-regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and setup of bottle packaging equipment.

Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues to minimize equipment downtime.

Perform equipment disassembly, assembly, changeovers, adjustments, and line setup.

Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on packaging machinery.

Support production teams during equipment breakdowns and line startups.

Troubleshoot conveyors, drives, motors, belts, chains, sensors, bearings, gearboxes, and other mechanical components.

Follow established cGMP, SOP, safety, and maintenance procedures.

Accurately document maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and equipment issues.

Assist with equipment changeovers and ensure packaging lines are properly set up for production.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with pharmaceutical manufacturing requirements.

Work closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance teams.

Conveyors and associated packaging-line equipment

Required Qualifications

2+ years of hands-on mechanical maintenance experience with bottle packaging lines.

2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, supplement, food, or similar manufacturing environments.

Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.

Experience with equipment setup, changeover, disassembly, assembly, and adjustments.

Understanding of cGMP and SOP requirements, preferably within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Ability to read and follow equipment manuals, maintenance procedures, and technical documentation.

Strong understanding of workplace safety and manufacturing maintenance practices.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
