What they need

A day in this role

You step onto the floor with a clear plan: stage the right materials, keep product flowing, and support production so every line stays on tempo. You’ll hop on a forklift or pallet jack to move raw and packaging materials, keep counts tight, and respond quickly to operators who need supplies—all while staying sharp on safety and quality.

Schedule & Pay

  • 6am-6pm | 2-2-3 schedule
  • $21-$24/hour (based on experience)

How you’ll make an impact

  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment to keep materials moving without delays
  • Maintain precise inventory counts and keep storage areas orderly and labeled
  • Stage and replenish materials for production so workflows stay uninterrupted
  • Partner closely with machine operators and the production team to meet demand
  • Monitor and restock packaging supplies to prevent downtime
  • Complete basic equipment upkeep and report issues promptly
  • Follow safety procedures consistently to protect yourself and teammates
  • Offer ideas that elevate efficiency and improve processes
  • Handle all materials with care to uphold quality standards

What you bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Hands-on material handling experience (manufacturing/packaging a strong plus)
  • Forklift certification—or willingness to obtain it
  • Keen attention to detail and reliable follow-through
  • Clear communication and collaborative teamwork style
  • Comfort with basic computer tasks for inventory and data entry
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting with accuracy and focus
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed

Physical and work environment

  • Comfort working in hot, cold, dusty, and noisy conditions
  • Ability to lift 55 lbs on a regular basis
  • Frequent stair/ladder use and continuous standing
  • Work safely at heights over 20’
  • Enter confined spaces following safety procedures
  • Use and hear 2-way radios
  • Safely maneuver equipment in tight areas
