LFTG INC. is a growing cannabis brand in Desert Hot Springs, CA. We are a hands-on, fast-moving startup looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Packaging Technician who takes pride in doing things correctly the first time.

This position is ideal for someone who works well independently, stays focused, communicates well, and is comfortable adapting as daily priorities change.

Responsibilities

• Package cannabis flower from start to finish according to company SOPs, quality standards, and applicable regulations.
• Weigh and package flower and inspect the product to ensure it meets company standards.
• Label lids and jars using manual and machine-assisted processes.
• Apply all required compliance labels and packaging components accurately.
• Meet quality control guidelines and SOP’s.
• Ensure jars are properly aligned and packaging is clean, consistent, and professionally presented.
• Verify every required component is included before orders leave the packaging area.
• Prepare orders for distribution to licensed dispensaries.
• Complete orders accurately and on time, with priority given to meeting required deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, organized packaging area and clean up throughout and at the end of each shift and in down time.
• Communicate daily with management regarding production completion, outstanding work, packaging supply needs, and upcoming orders.
• Assist other departments when needed as part of our all-hands-on-deck team approach.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Attention to detail is extremely important. Our products represent our brand, and we expect employees to perform their own quality checks. Crooked or improperly applied labels, air bubbles, missing components, misaligned jars, or other avoidable errors are not considered acceptable finished work.

Qualifications

Required:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work on a licensed cannabis premises and handle cannabis/cannabis products in accordance with applicable requirements.
• Must be able to pass the City of Desert Hot Springs-required Live Scan/background screening.
• Must be reliably available to report to work at approximately 8:00 AM, unless otherwise approved by management.
• Must be able to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to consistently meet production deadlines and quality standards.

Preferred, but not required:

• Previous cannabis industry experience.
• Packaging, manufacturing, warehouse, production, fulfillment, or quality-control experience.
• Experience operating labeling or other production equipment.
• Familiarity with cannabis packaging and labeling requirements.
