About the Role

We are looking for a Packaging Technologist – Assistant Manager with strong expertise in packaging sourcing, development and supplier coordination, preferably within the perfumery/fragrance industry. The role will manage the development of innovative, aesthetic and commercially viable packaging solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Primary, Secondary & Ancillary Packaging sourcing and development.
• Develop packaging solutions focusing on Protection, Preservation & Presentation (3P).
• Design and visualize creative packaging concepts for bottles, boxes and related components.
• Identify, evaluate and coordinate with packaging vendors and suppliers.
• Finalize packaging artwork, specifications and samples.
• Coordinate customized bottle, box and packaging sample development.
• Negotiate pricing, MOQ and lead times with suppliers in coordination with HOD.
• Arrange pre-production/final samples for developmental QC testing before mass production.
• Follow up on Purchase Orders, advance payments and supplier commitments.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal logistics teams for on-time delivery of packaging materials.

Ideal Candidate

• 5+ years of relevant experience in Packaging Technology, preferably in Perfumery/Fragrance/FMCG.
• Gulf/Saudi experience will be an added advantage.
• Level 5 Diploma in Packaging Technology is essential.
• Strong packaging design, sourcing and development skills.
• Excellent communication and supplier-management abilities.
• Creative, innovative and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and other IT tools.
