Packaging Worker

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging machinery and equipment in compliance with FDA regulations and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards
• Assemble packaging components using hand tools and mechanical knowledge to prepare products for shipment
• Use forklifts safely to move materials and finished goods within the warehouse or production area
• Conduct quality checks on packaged products to ensure they meet specifications and regulatory requirements
• Maintain accurate documentation of packaging activities, including batch records and inventory logs
• Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper handling of materials and use of personal protective equipment
• Assist with warehouse organization, inventory management, and loading/unloading shipments as needed

Experience

• Prior experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments is preferred, especially within packaging operations
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in automated packaging systems is a plus
• Mechanical knowledge combined with experience using hand tools for assembly tasks is highly desirable
• Knowledge of FDA regulations, CGMP standards, and industry best practices for pharmaceutical or food packaging is advantageous
• Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment is beneficial
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to follow detailed instructions are essential for success in this role

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 55.0 per week
