Role Description

This is an full-time, entry-level position located on-site in Ontario, CA. As a Packer, you will play a vital role in our daily operations by inspecting, packaging, and preparing finished plastic film products for shipment. No prior manufacturing experience is required—on-the-job training is fully provided, and meal breaks/lunches are fully paid.

• Excellent attention to detail and quality standards.
• Strict Punctuality & Attendance: Because our facility operates on a continuous production schedule, reliable, on-time arrival is essential to ensure seamless shift handoffs and support your teammates.
• Ability to follow safety protocols, verbal instructions, and basic work orders.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive motions, and lift up to 35–50 lbs regularly.
• Must know how to read tape measure, weights on scales, and be able to count.

Purpose:

To package finished product using Nexus specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, roll, bag, and pack finished plastic products according to work orders.
• Assure the product meets specifications on the work order by measurement, weights, checks, and packaging of the product.
• Alert supervisors of any quality or safety problems.
• Maintain clean facilities and organized work areas surrounding assigned lines.
• Understand and follow all plant procedures and safety work instructions.
• Understand and follow appropriate work instructions as documented and outlined in the quality systems manual.

Pay: From $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week

• Are you able to stand for extended periods and regularly lift up to 30-50 lbs throughout your shift?
• Are you comfortable reading a standard tape measure and reading weights on scale displays?
• Our meal breaks are 100% paid, which requires remaining on company premises during your shift. Are you comfortable with this policy?
• This role requires close visual inspection of plastic film to identify small defects and reading precision tools (scale weights and tape measures). Are you able to visually inspect clear materials for minor defects and accurately read measurement scales throughout your shift?
