About the Role
Packers make sure our breads and pastries reach customers in excellent condition. You'll package baked goods accurately and efficiently for wholesale, retail, and special orders in a fast-paced bakery production facility, while keeping product quality, labeling, and food safety standards high. This role reports to the Packing Lead.

What You'll Do

• Pack baked goods into bags, boxes, or trays based on packing lists and order sheets
• Confirm that product, quantity, and labeling match each customer's order
• Handle all items with care to prevent breakage or damage
• Communicate with the baking and logistics teams about shortages, substitutions, or quality issues
• Pre-label packaging, prepare order stickers, and stage delivery carts
• Track and report waste
• Keep your work area clean and organized, and follow food safety standards (GMP, HACCP/SQF) and PPE requirements
• Complete end-of-shift cleaning and sanitation (sweeping, mopping, trash removal)
• Follow timekeeping procedures, including accurate clock-in/clock-out and meal and rest breaks

Schedule
Full-time. Shift start times vary based on business needs; weekend and holiday availability may be required.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays

Preferred (not required)

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous experience in food manufacturing, warehouse, or foodservice packing
• Bilingual Spanish/English

Physical Demands and Work Environment
