Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Packer to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently packaging products in accordance with manufacturing standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements. Duties

• Operate packaging equipment and material handling tools safely and efficiently to prepare products for shipment
• Interpret production documents and standard operating procedures to ensure accurate packaging processes
• Conduct heavy lifting and materials handling to move raw materials, components, and finished goods within the manufacturing facility
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues with packaging machinery and perform basic mechanical troubleshooting to minimize downtime
• Adhere strictly to safety standards in production, including safety protocol adherence and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Maintain accurate records of packaging activities, including production documentation and quality checks
• Support warehouse operations by organizing materials and ensuring proper storage of packaged products

Requirements

• Prior experience in manufacturing or packaging environments is preferred, especially within regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals or food production
• Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), FDA regulations, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), and manufacturing standard operating procedures is highly desirable
• Familiarity with industrial equipment troubleshooting, packaging equipment operation, and materials handling equipment such as forklifts is a plus
• Mechanical knowledge related to industrial equipment maintenance and troubleshooting is beneficial
• Ability to interpret production documents accurately and perform basic math calculations for measurements and quantities
• Strong understanding of safety standards in production environments, including heavy lifting techniques and safety protocol adherence
• Warehouse operations experience, including the operation of material handling equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks, is advantageous
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
