Role Objective

To manage and control packing, storage, and dispatch operations ensuring safe handling, correct packing standards, timely dispatch, and customer satisfaction in aluminium extrusion operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise packing and dispatch activities as per production output and dispatch schedules.
• Ensure proper packing standards for aluminium profiles to prevent damage during handling and transit.
• Coordinate with production, PPC, quality, and sales teams for dispatch planning and priority orders.
• Monitor loading operations, vehicle placement, and adherence to dispatch timelines.
• Ensure correct documentation including invoice, e-way bill, packing list, and transport challans.
• Manage finished goods storage, stacking norms, and FIFO compliance.
• Monitor dispatch MIS, logistics costs, and transporter performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety norms, 5S, and statutory requirements in the dispatch area.
• Handle customer dispatch-related issues and coordinate for timely resolution.
• Lead and train packing and dispatch staff, contractors, and loaders.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma / Graduate in Mechanical, Production, or Logistics (preferred).
• Strong experience in packing and dispatch operations within an aluminium extrusion manufacturing setup.
• Good knowledge of extrusion profile handling, surface protection, and packing materials.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, MS Excel, and logistics documentation.
• Strong inter-departmental communication and coordination skills.
