Packing Associate (Own Visa)

We are looking for a Packaging Associateto work in our rapidly growing skincare distribution operation in the DWC Free Zone in Dubai, UAE.

As a Packaging Associate you will assemble and package and ship cosmetics products, receive and inventory products and materials by manual count or by using scanners, and move products using material handling equipment (i.e., pallet jacks, hand carts, etc.). It is also required to pick customer orders, sort, pack, and ship orders, and troubleshoot issues to resolution.

The job is typically performed inside of a Controlled Environment Area (packaging room) and a warehouse. Job duties include the following but are not limited to:

Responsibilities:

· Pick & Pack daily orders of skincare products with accuracy and in a timely manner

· Work individually or in a team to assemble and package skincare products with a very high level of detail

· Carry out quality control of finished goods and materials to ensure highest quality standards for our products

· Receive and inspect incoming shipments for damages, loss, or defects, and notify management of all findings

· Process incoming returns

· Unpack, sort, count, label, and store inventory that is received

· Work with a team to meet production demands and on-time delivery schedules accurately and efficiently

· Perform work in a safe, efficient, accurate and well-organized manner while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) before starting work, to include gloves, and clean room coats.

· Operate warehouse material handling equipment to load and unload, store, and move product throughout the warehouse as needed

· Quality control of outgoing packages

· Perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production operations

· Move goods packed in totes and boxes around the storage facility

· Maintain a clean and safe work environment, in compliance with company standards and policies.

· Perform housekeeping and maintenance tasks to keep workstations clean, organized, and safe. These include but are not limited to a) keeping shelves and workstations neat, b) sweep, dust and mop floors, c) trash and debris removal that may be a work hazard.

· Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

· Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, packaging, shipping, or other related fields is a plus

· Ability to lift/move +35lb/15kg boxes and packages on a frequent basis

· Self-motivated with an eagerness to learn and take direction

· Ability to safely stand for extended periods of time while performing repetitive tasks

· Must be willing and able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach

· Must be organized and pay attention to detail

· Ability to handle physical workload

· Ability to work independently and in teams

· Able to use general word processing, browser, and tablet applications

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

· Great organization and time management skills to meet deadlines

· Strong work ethic, high level of integrity, confidentiality, and trustworthiness

Pay: Up to AED3,200.00 per month
