As a Packing Team Leader, you will be responsible for packing food products to defined safety, legal and quality standards with maximum efficiency and minimum waste. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. All training is provided.

The rate of pay is £13.91 per hour, £556 per week, £28,932 per year plus opportunities for over time, paid weekly.

Duties:

• Assist the Senior Team Leader in achieving the packing production plan and efficiency
• Report all issues, with lines and machines, to Senior Team Leader and Engineers
• Ensure that all legal requirements labelling and coding are met
• Ensure factory and personnel hygiene standards are always maintained
• Maintain traceability for all in-process and finished products
• Report serious food safety or quality issues immediately management
• Help on lines, when needed, and making sure employees are following all the correct procedures

Requirements:

• Basic maths skills for measuring, counting, and calculating
• Ability to handle materials safely and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
