JOB SUMMARY: Sort, transfer, and stack on pallets the cases of finished product. Reads packaging specifications to ensure correct pallet type and arrangement of cases onto pallet matches specification . They must understand and align business operations and finishing department as he/she executes their role to exceed customer expectations and align with GPI business, cultural, financial and operational objectives.

JOB FUNCTIONS: Job functions include but are not limited to the following.

• Reads packaging specifications to ensure correct pallet type and arrangement of cases onto pallet matches specification.
• Observes cases moving along conveyor to identify defective cases, or incorrect labeling.
• Turns selector switch on palletizer to control stacking arrangement of cases on pallet and to transfer loaded pallet to delivery platform.
• Supplies loading equipment with empty pallets and slip sheets.
• Stops and restarts equipment to clear jams.
• Informs supervisor of equipment malfunction.
• Must be able to lift up to 25lbs chest height.

• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Must be able to work other shifts if needed and perform overtime work as required.
• Must have the ability to read, write and speak English. Must have excellent communication skills, communicating with people at all levels throughout the organization.
• Qualified candidate will be mechanically inclined, solution oriented and some computer knowledge.
