Paediatric OSCE Trainer – Remote

Medax OSCE Academy is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Paediatric OSCE Trainer to support internationally qualified nurses preparing for UK nursing OSCE examinations.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging online training sessions, demonstrate paediatric clinical skills, and help candidates build the confidence, communication skills and clinical reasoning needed to perform safely in OSCE stations.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver live online paediatric OSCE teaching sessions and practical demonstrations.
• Teach paediatric assessment, communication, medication safety, safeguarding, escalation and family-centred care.
• Prepare learners for common paediatric OSCE scenarios and answer candidates’ questions.
• Provide clear, constructive feedback during mock OSCEs and practice sessions.
• Assist with developing and reviewing paediatric OSCE learning materials, scenarios and checklists.
• Maintain professional, current and evidence-based practice throughout teaching.

Essential Requirements

• Registered Nurse with current professional registration.
• Strong clinical experience in paediatric nursing.
• Knowledge of OSCE requirements for the UK
• Previous teaching, mentoring, clinical supervision or OSCE training experience.
• Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Comfortable delivering interactive training through Zoom or other online platforms.
• Reliable internet connection and ability to work independently from home.
