What they need

Paediatric Occupational Therapist | Port Macquarie
Your caseload, your way. Real supervision. A pay rise every 12 weeks.

Imagine finishing a session where a little one finally nails their shoelaces, then heading to Town Beach for a sunset swim. That's a pretty typical Tuesday for our Port Macquarie team.

We're looking for a Paediatric OT (new grads through to experienced clinicians) to join our friendly local crew at Sea Change. Whether you want to go all-in on paeds or mix in some aged care for variety, we'll build a role that fits you.

Why OTs love working with us

  • Pay that grows with you, fast. Enjoy a pay increase every 12 weeks, so your hard work is rewarded all year round rather than waiting for that annual review.
  • Support that actually shows up. You'll have a dedicated clinical supervisor and an OT Manager in your corner, with weekly 1:1 supervision, regular case reviews and an open-door policy for the questions that can't wait.
  • Flexibility that's real, not just a buzzword. Choose your days, hours and mix of clinic, school, home and community visits. Full-time, part-time and 4-day weeks are all on the table.
  • Focus on paeds, or find your balance. Build deep expertise in paediatrics (sensory processing, fine motor, ASD, developmental delay, school readiness), or add some aged care work if variety keeps you energised.
  • A genuinely wonderful local team. Supportive, collaborative and down to earth. We celebrate the wins, share the load and know each other's coffee orders.
  • Grow your skills. A dedicated PD budget and paid PD days, in-house training and clear pathways into senior and specialist roles.
  • The practical stuff sorted. Admin support, manageable and flexible KPIs with a good weekly structure to avoid any chaos.
  • Coastal lifestyle. Beaches, national parks and the Hastings River on your doorstep, with a shorter commute and a better pace of life.

What you'll bring

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration
  • A passion for helping kids and families thrive (new grads are warmly welcomed and well supported)
  • A driver's licence and reliable vehicle
  • A current NSW Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
