Working days : 5.5 days per week

Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 0730hrs to 1800hrs/Saturday: 0730hrs to 1300hrs

Working Location: Will rotate among few nearby clinic

Salary: $3000 - $3500

  Full-Time Phlebotomist – Paediatric Trained

  Job Responsibilities

  • Perform safe and accurate venipuncture and blood collection for patients of all ages
  • Apply appropriate paediatric phlebotomy techniques and ensure children are handled with care and minimal discomfort.
  • Communicate clearly with children and their parents, explaining the blood collection procedure and addressing their concerns to provide reassurance and confidence in the child’s safety.
  • Perform blood collection via venipuncture rather than heel prick, where clinically appropriate and in accordance with established procedures.
  • Ensure proper patient identification, specimen labelling, handling, processing and documentation.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and well-organised phlebotomy area, including preparation and restocking of supplies.
  • Provide professional and compassionate patient service while maintaining high standards of hygiene and infection control.
  • Support health screenings, medical centres and mobile/home visit services when required.

  Requirements

  • Relevant phlebotomy certification or training.
  • Paediatric-trained with experience handling children and infants.
  • Experience in paediatric blood collection is preferred.
  • Able to communicate effectively with both children and parents.
  • Patient, gentle and reassuring when handling young patients.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
