What they need

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Paid Ad Coordinator based in Canada. As a Paid Ad Coordinator, you’ll support the execution of digital advertising campaigns across Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google Ads.

You’ll work closely with an experienced paid media specialist who will provide hands-on mentorship and help you strengthen your platform and campaign skills.

The role combines paid advertising execution with organic social media coordination in a collaborative marketing environment.

You’ll manage campaigns from setup through monitoring while ensuring content, links, schedules, and reporting remain accurate.

Your work will directly contribute to campaign performance, client delivery, and the visibility of a portfolio of science and B2B-focused brands.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and looking to build practical experience in paid media.

The position is fully remote within Canada, with preference potentially given to candidates working in Eastern or Central time zones.

Accountabilities

  • Set up, launch, and manage boosted posts across Facebook brand pages, ensuring campaigns are configured accurately and launched on schedule.
  • Coordinate client and sponsored posts across relevant social advertising platforms, working with internal stakeholders to ensure timely execution.
  • Manage LinkedIn boosts for both owned and sponsored content, monitoring activity and addressing issues as needed.
  • Take responsibility for a significant portion of Facebook advertising campaigns, overseeing setup, monitoring, and day-to-day campaign execution.
  • Build and maintain campaign performance reports, using advertising dashboards and spreadsheets to identify trends, summarize results, and communicate actionable insights.
  • Monitor campaign details closely, checking links, copy, targeting, scheduling, and other elements to prevent errors and missed deadlines.
  • Write, organize, and schedule organic Facebook content as part of the broader social media calendar.
  • Coordinate with brand stakeholders and clients to gather information, confirm requirements, and keep campaigns moving efficiently.
  • Work alongside the Paid Ad Specialist to implement platform best practices and continuously improve campaign execution.
  • Contribute to an organized, reliable advertising workflow while developing greater knowledge of paid media strategy and digital marketing.

Requirements

  • Some hands-on experience using Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Ads, or similar digital advertising platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify errors such as incorrect links, typos, campaign settings, or scheduling issues before they affect delivery.
  • Comfort working with numbers, spreadsheets, advertising dashboards, and campaign performance data, with the ability to identify and communicate meaningful insights.
  • Strong written communication skills and the ability to coordinate clearly with internal stakeholders, clients, and other marketing team members.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
  • A proactive, dependable, and collaborative approach, with the willingness to learn and take ownership of day-to-day campaign execution.
  • Experience managing or publishing content on brand or business social media accounts is an asset.
  • Meta Blueprint or Google Ads certification is considered an advantage.
  • An interest in science, technology, B2B media, or related industries is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively and independently in a fully remote environment while maintaining clear communication and reliable execution.

Benefits

  • Competitive annual salary of $42,000–$50,000 CAD.
  • Fully remote position open to eligible candidates across Canada.
  • Opportunity to work directly alongside an experienced paid media specialist who provides mentorship and practical guidance.
  • Hands-on exposure to Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google advertising platforms and real-world campaign management.
  • Opportunity to develop paid media expertise through practical campaign experience rather than purely theoretical learning.
  • Collaborative marketing environment with exposure to client campaigns, branded content, and digital advertising.
  • Inclusive workplace committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Reasonable accommodation available for qualified individuals with disabilities throughout the hiring process.
