We are looking for participants across India for a paid AI data collection project involving the collection of photos of real, naturally occurring handwritten text using eligible Apple devices.

The collected data will be used to help improve AI and computer vision systems.

What You Will Do

Participants will capture Live Photos of authentic handwritten materials using the rear camera of an eligible Apple device.

Examples include:

• Personal notes and memos
• Shopping or to-do lists
• Letters
• Diaries or journals
• Greeting cards
• Recipes
• Tables and forms
• Flyers
• Other naturally occurring handwritten documents

Payment

• USD $1.25 per approved asset
• Up to 20 approved assets per participant, per language
• Payment will be made within 10-15 days after approval
• Participants who know multiple eligible languages may contribute in each language

Languages Required

Participants should be able to read and understand at least one of the following:

• Bengali / Bangla
• Gujarati
• Odia
• Punjabi
• Kannada
• Malayalam
• Telugu
• Tamil
• Urdu

Device Requirement

Participants must have access to an eligible Apple device that supports the required Live Photo functionality.

The device does not necessarily need to be personally owned. For example, family members can use the same eligible iPhone, with each participant completing the project under their own account/consent.

Important Guidelines

• Handwritten content must be real and naturally occurring
• AI-generated or synthetic content is not allowed
• Documents should not be created specifically for this project
• Any personal or sensitive information must be removed or hidden before submission
• Participants can submit a maximum of 5 items written by themselves
• Photos should meet the project's quality and submission guidelines
