ABOUT THE ROLE
Join an ambitious, data-led performance marketing agency where you'll take the lead on paid social strategy across a diverse portfolio of clients. You'll work on everything from complex lead generation campaigns with longer sales cycles to established e-commerce brands, managing monthly advertising budgets ranging from $10k to over $100k.
  
This is an opportunity to move beyond simply managing ads. You'll have the autonomy to shape strategy, influence creative direction and make commercially driven decisions, supported by an experienced team of analytics, paid search and creative specialists. With a clear pathway into senior leadership, you'll be joining at a stage where you can genuinely influence the future of the paid social offering.   

• Own and develop paid social strategies across Meta, TikTok and other relevant platforms, driving measurable commercial results.
• Manage and optimise significant advertising budgets, using data to identify opportunities for growth, efficiency and improved profitability.
• Lead client conversations, providing meaningful insights into campaign performance, revenue, lead quality and business outcomes.
• Collaborate with creative and analytics specialists to develop effective advertising concepts, testing strategies and performance improvements.
• Provide strategic direction and mentorship within the social team, with opportunities to influence wider agency strategy and growth.

 
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
You'll already have solid paid social experience within an agency environment and a genuine passion for performance marketing. You're confident managing campaigns, but your real strength lies in understanding the numbers, interpreting results and explaining how your decisions contribute to a client's bottom line.
  
You're commercially curious, analytically strong and comfortable working directly with clients. You understand what makes great creative perform, enjoy collaborating with other specialists and have the ambition to take greater ownership and grow into a leadership position.   

• 3+ years of hands-on paid social experience, with agency experience essential.
• Advanced Meta Ads Manager skills, ideally complemented by strong TikTok advertising experience.
• Experience across both lead generation and e-commerce, with the ability to connect campaign performance to commercial outcomes.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking, with confidence interpreting data, presenting results and guiding client decisions.
• Excellent communication skills, a collaborative approach and the ambition to lead and develop others. Valid NZ working rights are essential.
