Paint Prepper / Finisher

About Us

3G Collision & Customs is a custom and light-collision shop in Tulsa. We do recon, custom paint, back-to-black trim, body kits, spray-on bedliner and undercoating. We're a small, hands-on team with a full paint bank and a dedicated booth area, and we hold our work to a higher standard.

The Role

You'll work directly with our lead painter and shop manager to keep refinish work moving. You'll prep vehicles and panels for paint, then bring finished work up to delivery quality. This is a support role with real room to grow. If you show up, learn, and do clean work, we'll train you up.

What You'll Do

• Wash, clean, and degrease vehicles and panels before prep
• DA sand, scuff, and featheredge panels for primer and paint
• Apply and block body filler and primer as directed
• Mask and unmask vehicles cleanly and accurately
• Wet sand, color sand, and buff/polish finished paint
• Detail and inspect vehicles before delivery
• Help with bedliner prep and masking when needed
• Keep the booth, prep area, and tools clean and organized
• Track material use and flag low stock
• Assist the lead painter and manager with daily shop tasks

What We're Looking For

• Body shop or paint prep experience preferred. We'll train the right person.
• Familiar with DA sanders, blocking, masking, and buffers
• Detail-oriented and takes pride in clean work
• Reliable, on time, and takes direction well
• Able to stand, kneel, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the day
• Willing to wear required PPE, including respirators
• Valid driver's license

Schedule & Pay

• Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM
• $15–$19/hr based on experience, with raise reviews at 60 days and 6 months
