Paint Recycling & Materials Sorting Technician

• Job Summary:
• We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Paint Recycling & Materials Sorting Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for sorting post-consumer paint products and preparing materials for recycling or redistribution. The ideal candidate is able to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, physically active environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sort post-consumer paint by brand, color, container size, and paint type
• Accurately read and interpret product labels
• Build and organize pallets of similar products for storage or shipment
• Safely stack, wrap, and secure pallets for transport
• Maintain productivity goals and meet daily performance standards
• Work independently and collaboratively with team members
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards

Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move 30–70 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and in a team setting
• Basic reading skills for label identification and sorting accuracy

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in recycling, warehouse, or material handling environments
• Familiarity with palletizing and shrink-wrapping processes

Work Environment:
This position involves continuous physical activity, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Work is performed in a warehouse setting.

Monday - Friday 7am-3:30pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
