Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Paint Shop Supervisor with hands-on experience in the automobile or car manufacturing industry. Candidates who have worked in automotive paint shops and have knowledge of car painting processes, surface preparation, paint application, and quality inspection will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily paint shop operations and ensure smooth workflow.
• Handle surface preparation, cleaning, sanding, masking, primer application, and painting processes.
• Ensure proper paint mixing, application, finishing, and curing as per process requirements.
• Monitor paint quality, colour matching, surface finish, and overall appearance.
• Identify and minimize paint defects such as bubbles, scratches, orange peel, uneven coating, and paint runs.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, production targets, and delivery timelines.
• Maintain paint shop tools, equipment, and material consumption records.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, PPE, housekeeping, and 5S standards.
• Coordinate with production and quality teams to resolve painting-related issues.
• Supervise workers and ensure discipline and productivity on the shop floor.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• ITI, Diploma, or equivalent technical qualification preferred.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in a paint shop or automotive painting environment.
• Candidates from car manufacturing, automobile OEMs, or automotive paint shops are highly preferred.
• Practical knowledge of automotive painting processes, paint application, surface finishing, and defect identification.
• Ability to manage shop-floor workers and maintain production quality.
• Good problem-solving and coordination skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates currently working or previously employed in automobile companies, car manufacturing plants, automotive component manufacturing, or automotive paint shops will be preferred.

Pay: Up to ₹25,000.00 per month
