Responsibilities

  1. Perform primer and topcoat spraying in accordance with engineering drawings, work instructions, and production processes. Complete surface preparation, including sanding, degreasing, dust removal, masking, and surface protection before painting.
  2. Mix paints and thinners, adjust spray gun parameters (air pressure, spray distance, and spraying speed), and control coating thickness and color consistency while preventing defects such as runs, pinholes, and insufficient coverage.
  3. Conduct in-process self-inspection, verify first-piece quality, identify coating defects, and promptly report quality abnormalities.
  4. Clean and maintain spray booths, spray guns, pipelines, and filtration systems. Record paint and consumable usage, minimize material waste, and ensure compliant handling of hazardous paint waste and waste solvents.
  5. Comply with coating safety regulations by wearing appropriate PPE, including respirators, protective clothing, and safety goggles. Follow fire and explosion prevention procedures, inspect ventilation and explosion-proof equipment, and maintain workplace 5S standards.
  6. Complete production and quality records, follow production schedules, and report equipment abnormalities promptly to the supervisor.

Requirements

  1. Junior high school education or above with 1–3 years of industrial spray painting experience. Familiar with metal and plastic coating processes, paint mixing, and spray gun adjustment. Safety training in industrial painting is preferred.
  2. Able to read work instructions and process sheets, identify common coating defects, and independently resolve basic painting quality issues.
  3. Physically fit with no allergies to paint or solvents and no respiratory conditions that would prevent painting work. Able to work in a workshop environment and accept overtime or shift work.
  4. Familiar with fire prevention, explosion protection, and hazardous chemical safety requirements in spray painting operations. Strong sense of responsibility and strict compliance with SOPs.

Powder Coating Operator

Responsibilities

  1. Perform electrostatic powder coating according to process requirements. Hang workpieces, inspect surface pretreatment (degreasing and phosphating), complete masking, adjust electrostatic spray gun parameters (voltage, powder output, and spray distance), and ensure uniform coating thickness and adhesion.
  2. Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections to identify defects such as missed coating, particles, orange peel, and color variation. Separate conforming and non-conforming products and report quality issues.
  3. Clean and maintain powder booths, spray guns, powder recovery systems, and powder hoppers. Perform thorough cleaning during color changes to prevent contamination, monitor powder consumption, and dispose of or recycle waste powder according to procedures.
  4. Coordinate with the curing process to ensure smooth workpiece transfer. Maintain workplace cleanliness and implement 5S standards.
  5. Follow electrostatic powder coating safety procedures, wear appropriate dust protection PPE, implement anti-static measures, prevent dust explosion hazards, and immediately report equipment or safety issues.
  6. Complete production records, follow production schedules, and achieve daily production targets.

Requirements

  1. Junior high school education or above with 1–3 yearsof electrostatic powder coating experience in the metal fabrication industry. Proficient in operating electrostatic spray guns, parameter adjustment, and color change procedures.
  2. Able to identify common powder coating defects, including particles, craters, thin coating, and poor adhesion, and perform basic process adjustments.
  3. Physically fit with no dust allergies or respiratory diseases. Able to work in a manufacturing environment and accept overtime or shift work.
  4. Knowledge of powder coating safety, dust explosion prevention, and electrostatic protection. Careful, responsible, and compliant with SOPs.
