Vanguard Logistics Ltd is looking to recruit experienced painters and decorators to join our contractor network in London, supporting upcoming commercial maintenance, decorating and property repair works. We are building a reliable team of painters and decorators to work with Vanguard Logistics on commercial projects as client requirements arise. Successful applicants will complete our onboarding process and enter into the relevant contract arrangements with Vanguard Logistics. This is an opportunity for dependable tradespeople looking to establish an ongoing working relationship with a company delivering commercial maintenance and repair services.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out internal and external painting and decorating works across commercial premises.

* Prepare surfaces by sanding, filling, scraping and making good damaged areas.

* Repair minor cracks, holes and surface imperfections before decorating.

* Apply paint, primers, finishes and other appropriate coatings to the required standard.

* Carry out touch-ups and remedial decorating following maintenance, leaks or other damage.

* Protect surrounding fixtures, flooring and equipment during works.

* Assess work areas and identify the materials and equipment required.

* Leave work areas clean, safe and tidy on completion.

* Provide clear updates on completed work and any outstanding issues.

* Maintain professional standards and follow client site requirements.Requirements

* Proven painting and decorating experience.

* Knowledge of surface preparation, paint application and finishing techniques.

* Ability to work safely and achieve a professional finish.* Good attention to detail and time management

* Reliability, professionalism and good communication skills.

* Own tools and transport appropriate to the assignments.

* Appropriate insurance where required for subcontractors.

* Willingness to complete Vanguard Logistics’ onboarding and contract process.
