• Using Pressure washer machine

• Soft Washing Equipment

• maintaining equipment as well as knowledge of pressure levels as to ot damage surface.

• Must have knowledge of chemicals to use for machine

• Painting

• Surface preparation techniques like scraping, sanding,and priming

• Applying paint evenly and consistently with different methods (roller, brush, sprayer)

• Color matching and color theory basics

• Identifying and addressing paint defects

Job Summary: Painting, pressure washing and other duties relating to maintenance are the primary duties. Maintain equipment and tools associated with duties.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities

• Assists other Maintenance Technicians as needed.
• Performs preventative maintenance on systems and equipment as required.
• Performs preventative maintenance duties to all physical structures and complies with all building & OSHA safety codes and regulations. This is to include facility equipment and associated controls.
• Maintains routine records of all inspections, preventative maintenance and repairs performed on any equipment or system.
• Works days, evenings or nights as required performing required duties. Participates in the departments on call schedule.
• Performs manual duties as requested (i.e. moving supplies or furniture, replacing light bulbs, removing trash scrap material).
• Prepares and smoothes surfaces; removes old paint; matches paint and paint surfaces in a timely manner.
• Pressure washes surfaces without damaging; uses appropriate mixture of cleaning solutions and maintain pressure washing equipment in good working condition.
• Uses and maintains basic tools required to perform duties.
• Responsible for the proper and safe storage of open paint containers and other regulated materials.
• Attends in-service meetings, daily meetings & filling out work order forms.
• Responds to code red alerts.
• Educational, Physical, and Other Requirements:
• Must pass Level 2 background screening through the Florida Clearinghouse (Learn more: https://info.flclearinghouse.com)
• High school graduate or GED equivalent,
• Valid Florida drivers license in good standing.
• Experience in building/facility maintenance, painting and some Vo-tech experience would be beneficial

• Must supply own small power tool, hand tools, and specialty tools necessary for this position.
