Painter/Blasters - WA Pilbara

CGC Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Painter/Blasters for upcoming shutdown and remediation works across the Pilbara region of Western Australia. These positions are with a leading maintenance and industrial services contractor operating on long-term iron ore projects.
 
This is an excellent opportunity for tradespeople looking for steady project work, competitive rates, and potential ongoing opportunities for high-performing personnel.

Project Information

• Mobilisation from 27 October 2026
• All onboarding requirements to be completed ASAP
• Major remediation program across WA iron ore operations
• Long-term project pipeline with works forecast 1-2 years worth of work
• 12-hour rotating day and night shifts
• $74-$75/hr casual flat rate (inclusive of casual loading)
• FIFO opportunities available from Perth

What You'll Need

• Minimum 5 years' industrial Painter/Blaster experience
• Trade qualification highly regarded
• Current Working at Heights (within 2 years)
• Current Confined Space Entry (within 2 years)
• Current Demonstrate Fire Attack / Basic Fire (within 2 years)
• White Card
• Rio Tinto induction highly desirable
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
