In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality auto body repairs, refinishing, and painting to restore vehicles to their original condition or better. Your expertise will help ensure customer satisfaction through meticulous surface preparation, precise application of paints and coatings, and expert finishing techniques. Responsibilities

• Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, welding, and surface preparation using hand tools, grinders, and power tools.
• Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, masking, priming, and applying corrosion protection to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
• Apply paints, coatings, and finishes using conventional spray guns or airless paint spraying equipment with precision and attention to detail.
• Conduct automotive buffing and polishing to achieve a smooth, glossy finish that meets quality standards.
• Use automotive glass replacement techniques when necessary to restore vehicle integrity after repairs.
• Follow safety protocols by utilizing respiratory protection and proper handling of paints, solvents, and chemicals.
• auto restoration projects and provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes clearly.

Requirements

• Proven experience in auto body repair or painting within a dealership or collision center environment.
• Proficiency with welding techniques and mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Skilled in surface preparation including masking, sanding, grinding, and applying primers or sealants.
• Experience operating spray guns (conventional or airless), buffing machines, grinders, and other power tools essential for auto refinishing.
• Knowledge of automotive surface preparation standards and auto restoration processes.
• Ability to lift heavy parts safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship in auto painting and bodywork.
• Excellent customer service skills along with basic auto estimating knowledge is preferred.
