Painter

CPC Engineering is a mid-tier Engineering Company with over 50 years’ experience in the Mining Sector, and are 100% West Australian owned and operated.
 
We are seeking an experienced and versatile Painter to join our team full-time, working across industrial, commercial, and residential projects. This is a great opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys variety in their day-to-day work.
 
About the Role:
As our Painter, you'll be responsible for a broad range of painting and construction related tasks, including:

• Application of paint and protective coatings to a variety of surfaces, including steel and internal/external substrates.
• Demonstrated understanding of paint systems, surface preparation requirements, and coating specifications.
• Gyprock installation, plastering, flushing, patching, and light framing works.
• Working to industrial, commercial, and residential construction standards.
• Conducting site inspections, scoping works, and completing material take-offs.
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship while adhering to workplace health and safety requirements.
• Assisting with general building maintenance, refurbishment, and construction activities as required.

• A versatile tradesperson with strong attention to detail.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise professionally with clients, supervisors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
