About the role

Polystar Manpower Services is seeking a skilled and dedicated Painter to join our team in Paranaque City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality painting projects across the retail and consumer products sector. As a Painter, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the aesthetic appeal and durability of retail spaces, product displays, and commercial environments. Key responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and filling any imperfections prior to painting
• Apply paint, varnish, or other coatings using appropriate techniques and tools to achieve a professional finish
• Mix paint colours and adjust shades to match specifications and customer requirements
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met and surfaces are properly covered
• Maintain and care for all painting equipment and tools, ensuring they are kept in good working condition
• Follow health and safety protocols, including proper handling of paints, solvents, and protective equipment
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure project timelines are met
• Assist with the planning and preparation of painting projects in various retail and consumer product environments

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Painter, with a strong portfolio demonstrating previous work in retail or commercial environments
• Proficiency in various painting techniques, including brush work, roller application, and spray painting
• Knowledge of different paint types, finishes, and coatings suitable for various surfaces
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Physical fitness and ability to work at heights and in confined spaces when required
• Excellent time management skills and reliability in meeting project deadlines
• Valid identification and ability to comply with all safety and regulatory requirements
• Preferably, certification or training in painting or a related trade
