Painter

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial painting, with a strong understanding of construction practices. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team on various projects including renovations, restorations, and new constructions.

Duties

• Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and patching as necessary.
• Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Mix paints according to specifications and ensure proper application techniques are used.
• Perform plastering, caulking, and other finishing tasks to achieve a polished look.
• Collaborate with construction teams to ensure timely project completion while maintaining quality standards.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks including fixture installation and trim carpentry.
• Maintain a clean work environment by properly storing tools and materials after use.
• Conduct basic maintenance tasks as needed on job sites.

Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills:

• Experience with residential painting techniques as well as commercial painting projects.
• Familiarity with industrial painting processes and materials.
• Knowledge of renovation practices including concrete finishing, masonry work, and remodeling skills.
