Painter

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and removing old paint, rust, dirt, and other contaminants.
• Apply paint, primer, protective coatings, and other finishing materials using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Perform painting and touch-up works on buildings, equipment, pipes, tanks, structures, and other company assets.
• Mix and match paint colors and coatings according to required specifications.
• Inspect painted surfaces and perform necessary repairs or retouching.
• Maintain and properly use painting tools, equipment, and materials.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of paints, solvents, and other chemicals.
• Follow safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE and safe handling of painting materials.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping in the work area.
• Coordinate with maintenance and operations personnel regarding painting and repair requirements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
