Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces to be painted or coated
• Prepare and mix paints, coatings, and finishes according to specifications
• Apply products using manual or automated equipment
• Use computer systems related to painting procedures
• Clean and maintain painting and protective equipment
• Inspect the quality of the finish and perform any necessary touch-ups

Your profile

• Attestation of Vocational Studies (AEP) or Attestation of College Studies (AEC) in industrial painting, or a Secondary School Diploma (DES) with three (3) years of equivalent experience in the field.
• Good knowledge of paints and their characteristics.
• Strong ability to read and understand painting procedures and internal QCI procedures in both English and French.
• May be required to perform any other related duties associated with the role.
• Rigging and lifting, WHMIS, and forklift operation are assets.
• A practical and/or theoretical test may be required for candidates.
