About the opportunity:
We are seeking experienced Industrial Painters for projects we have scheduled to start ASAP, The work will involve:

• Surface prep of steel using scrapers, sandpaper, wire brushes, needle guns and abrasive blasting.
• Building, shaping and levelling of surfaces.
• Mixing and measurement of two pot/epoxy coatings.
• Application of both standard and industrial coatings to a high standard.

Skills + Experience:
To be considered you will need:

• At least 3 years proven preparation and application experience working in a heavy industrial environment (or similar)
• Knowledge about the safe use of coatings application processes, as well as the safe use of equipment and the handling of hazardous substances.
• To be familiar with the preparation of metal in a marine environment which will include chemical solvent treatments.
• Current Elevated Work Platform and Confined Workspace tickets (or be willing to get them).
