Help keep Camp Lincoln and Camp Lake Hubert looking their best! We’re looking for a dependable Painter who takes pride in quality work to help maintain our cabins, buildings, furniture, and camp facilities.

In this hands-on role, you’ll complete interior and exterior painting projects, prepare surfaces, and apply finishes that protect our facilities and create welcoming spaces for campers and staff. You’ll work with our facilities team to plan projects, coordinate supplies, and maintain a safe, organized workspace.

What You’ll Do

  • Complete painting and finishing projects throughout both camps.
  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, patching, and priming as needed.
  • Mix and match paints and apply coatings using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Estimate the time and materials needed for projects.
  • Coordinate supply orders and track material inventory.
  • Plan work to minimize disruption to camp activities.
  • Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
  • Follow safety procedures when using paints, chemicals, tools, and equipment.
  • Communicate with the facilities team and other departments about project progress and needs.
  • Assist with related repairs and other assigned tasks.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience with interior and exterior painting, surface preparation, and finishing.
  • Ability to safely use common painting and basic repair tools.
  • Attention to detail and pride in completing quality work.
  • Dependability, good communication, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to organize projects and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to read product labels, safety instructions, basic drawings, and project specifications.
  • Ability to prepare basic written estimates and work updates.
  • Three years of professional painting experience preferred.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • A valid driver’s license may be required if the position involves operating company vehicles.
