Painting Duties

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and removing dust, oil, or loose material.
• Apply primer, paint, protective coatings, and finishing materials as instructed.
• Mix and prepare paints and other coating materials according to required specifications.
• Ensure proper and uniform application of paint.
• Repair damaged, uneven, or poorly painted surfaces.
• Maintain painting tools, brushes, rollers, spray equipment, and other materials.
• Protect surrounding areas and finished surfaces from paint spills and damage.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.

Shuttering / Formwork Duties

• Prepare, install, and remove shuttering/formwork for concrete works.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and fix wooden, steel, or other formwork materials.
• Ensure shuttering is properly aligned, levelled, secured, and supported.
• Check dimensions and positioning before concrete pouring.
• Apply shuttering oil/release agent as required.
• Safely dismantle shuttering after the required concrete setting period.
• Repair and maintain shuttering materials for reuse.
• Report damaged or defective formwork to the Foreman/Supervisor.

General Duties

• Follow instructions given by the Foreman, Supervisor, or Production Manager.
• Follow company safety rules, PPE requirements, and site procedures.
• Handle tools and equipment safely and responsibly.
• Maintain good housekeeping at the workplace.
• Assist other workers when required.
• Report unsafe conditions, defects, material shortages, or equipment problems immediately.
• Perform other duties related to construction and production as assigned by management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in painting and shuttering/formwork work is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic construction practices.
• Ability to use hand tools and basic measuring equipment.
• Ability to read basic measurements and follow work instructions.
• Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual work.
• Ability to work outdoors and in construction/factory environments.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Safety Requirements

• Proper use of PPE is mandatory.
• Follow all company HSE and site safety procedures.
• Use ladders, scaffolding, cutting tools, and other equipment safely.
• Immediately report accidents, injuries, hazards, and unsafe working conditions.

Note: The employee may be assigned additional duties related to production, construction, painting, shuttering, and general labour activities as required by management.
